Please be advised that your color choice cannot be asured when chosen through our web site. Different computer monitors or web browsers display color differently. So to be sure you have the color you want please call us to arrange for a sample sent to you via the mail so you are sure your choice is correct.

Our BRTech hoods are paintable. A lexan approved paint is needed. We use and strongly recommend that you use Pactra Racing Finish by the Testors Corporation.

Using an non-Lexan approved paint will result in the hood becoming brittle and fragile. Even approved paints lessen the flexibility of Lexan. We like to paint from the inside of the hood to give the paint an ultra glossy look and also to help keep the paint from getting scratched by obstacles on the trail.

We offer same color and pearl paint jobs. A basic paint job uses roughly 8-10 cans. Pearl uses roughly 10-12 cans. All in-house paint jobs are backed with a second layer of Indy Silver (4-6 cans) to act as a heat reflector and help deepen the color of the paint.

Just an FYI, pages with an abundance of color and pictures on them like the following link and some of our photo gallery areas can take a while to load, so be sure that's where you want to be before you go there.

Colors
Pinstriping is available please call us with your desired look and needs. This is available for an additional $50. Pinstriping is used to separate the clear and the painted areas. Metal flake is also available for an additional $25 to any paint job.
